Phantom Tales of the Night then holds your attention as it moves from its first episodic stories in the first couple of volumes to a well-developed, in-depth series with much longer plot arcs and featuring some of the most mysterious and most fascinating main characters in the manga world.

Even if they really aren’t very nice.

What is Phantom Tales of the Night about?

Yen Press, who is publishing Phantom Tales of the Night, Volume 12 has this to say about its extremely well-written plot and characters:

Welcome to Murakumo Inn, a curious establishment that opens its doors to the troubled masses, human or otherwise. But to pay for the stay, the equally curious innkeeper takes payment only in the form of one’s deepest secrets…Who will come calling today?

Volume 12, by the way, will finally reveal the fates of those within Murakumo’s walls.

You can grab Phantom Tales of the Night, Volume 12 as of today via Yen Press, in both digital and paperback editions.

The final volume of the horror manga is 200 pages long, and in its usual 5.75″x8.25″ trim size.
