Call of the Night Complete Collection Blu-ray out in September

The official Call of the Night Complete Collection Blu-ray is now up for pre-order via Sentai Filmworks and, if you are a fan of this superb supernatural vampire-themed anime series (and who isn’t?), this one should definitely be added to your Blu-ray collection.

According to Sentai, the Call of the Night Complete Collection Blu-ray features all 13 episodes of the first season of the Liden Films produced anime series.

That will give you a total runtime of 325 minutes of one of the most gorgeous art styles in an anime for a long time — gorgeous for both backdrops and characters.

Remember too, Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta in Japanese) is not just your typical vampire-themed show.

Instead, the anime tackles a huge number of unique topics.

Topics like friendship versus romance, every human being’s innate narcissism, how the education system is more than just a bit messed up, and how both humans and vampires are more alike than unalike as, yes, they all want to be loved, and this anime is one of the most interesting in a long time.
