Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter’s Lynee character visual has the magic student waving excitedly at Allen
When it comes to promotional pieces for upcoming anime series, some of my favorites are from the upcoming Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter — a fantasy anime featuring some of the cutest girls.
Their promo piece are dropping consistently every week, are beautifully illustrated, and are really ramping up the excitement for the anime itself when it premieres on 5th July.
The latest Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter visual, for instance, is an incredibly cute illustration of Lynee Leinster, Lydia’s younger sister, and a genius who has already mastered the supreme fire spell Firebird.
In the illustration, Lynee is waving happily at the viewer and smiling broadly.
With the comment accompanying the visual “Ah, Brother! Good morning!“, it is obvious Lynee is waving at tutor Allen. A man she absolutely adores.
Lynee’s character visual follows on from those released earlier for her older sister Lydia, maid and Tina’s best friend Ellie, Lynee’s rival Tina, and from the character video for Allen, which dropped a few days ago.
Lynee herself is being voiced by Miho Okazaki, who is known as the voice for Rimuru Tempest in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
The Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter‘s plot
The anime follows Allen, a sorcerer who finds himself having to get a job after he fails the final exam for his dream job at the royal court, and realizes he cannot afford his dream life alone in the countryside.
Soon he is working for Duke Howard teaching his young daughter, Tina. A girl who will be taking the entrance exam for the Royal Academy, but who is unable to cast even a simple spell.
It turns out, though, with Allen’s special magical abilities and his way of teaching them, Tina may soon be able to get passed her inability to perform simple magic, and become one of the kingdom’s most promising magic students.
But is that what her powerful father really wants?
Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter premieres on July 5th but, if you can’t wait to learn more about the plot before then, you can also pick up the light novel series written by Riku Nanano.
J-Novel Club has currently published 15 volumes in English, and has two more dropping soon.
Update: Tina Howard’s character video has now dropped, and she’s utterly adorable.
