As someone who worked or volunteered for many years in the HIV/AIDS community in America, I’m always happy to see celebrities donate their time or money to help people living with HIV/AIDS.
When it’s a celebrity on the scale of someone like Rihanna, it’s even better as so much attention and, yes, money can be brought to the table by people who may not have been interested in the cause otherwise.
So, I was happy to see a tweet from Rihanna this morning saying her new Viva Glam MAC cosmetics collection is just being launched in North America this week, with a worldwide launch later on in the month.
And that the Viva Glam MAC cosmetics line is to benefit people living with HIV/AIDS – every single penny of profit from them.
How cool is that? Thanks, Rihanna.
