With just four episodes of the ongoing JTBC drama Romance in the House to go, Episode 8 aired last night to a very nice rise in its ratings compared to the K-drama’s previous episode.
Nielsen Korea data shows Romance in the House, Episode 8 earned 4.21 percent of the nationwide audience, which is up from Episode 7’s viewership of 3.34 percent from the night before.
That viewership also put the Kdrama in first place in its time slot.
Audiences in Seoul were also favorable towards the Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Soo-led drama, helping it garner 4.12 percent, which is a rise of a solid 1.0 percent versus the previous evening.
Romance in the House going gangbusters on Netflix
Meanwhile, over on Netflix where Romance in the House is streaming, the drama is still sitting solidly on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart at #5.
It is the third week the Korean drama has been on the chart, as it was watched more than 1.8 million times for a total of 10.5 million hours viewed for the period of August 19th to August 25th.
Alongside the aforementioned Ji Jin Hee and Kim Ji Soo, Romance in the House also stars Son Na Eun and Choi Min Ho.
The Korean drama’s next episode will air on Saturday, September 7th on both JTBC in Korea, and on Netflix for the rest of us.
