You know you’ve just become one of the most famous people on the planet when you have a waxwork figure of yourself at Madame Tussauds. That’s what just happened to singer Selena Gomez this week when her waxwork figure debuted at Madame Tussauds in New York.
The waxwork Selena Gomez, which took four months to create, is dressed in an elegant white blouse and black leather shorts, with a chunky gold necklace setting off her lovely neck. It’s an outfit the singer wore in her concert last year, so fans will easily recognize it.
What’s even cooler about the Selena Gomez waxwork is, unlike when I was a kid and we weren’t allowed anywhere near Madame Tussaud’s waxwork creations, nowadays the public gets to be ‘up close and personal’ – even taking photographs with the figure that, on first glance, makes it look like they’re standing next to the real woman.
For more on the Selena Gomez waxwork, watch the ODE video below. Personally, I think she looks incredibly cute.
