Simple Minds rock The Billboard Music Awards with ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)‘
The Billboard Music Awards is one of the biggest music awards events of the year. Last night’s ceremony had some incredible live acts, along with the awards, but none better than Scotland’s Simple Minds who performed ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)‘ from the iconic 1985 movie ‘The Breakfast Club‘.
Simple Minds, of course, had the perfect introduction by none other than Molly Ringwald, one of the stars of ‘The Breakfast Club‘, and as iconic of the mid-80s era as the song itself.
Watch Simple Minds singing ‘Don’t You Forget About Me‘ live at the Billboard Music Awards below. Hard to believe it’s 30 years since that song was released, and it still sounds just as amazing.
And, of course, don’t miss the reactions of the celebrity crowd, including Molly Ringwald herself. Fabulous.
