American indie rock band Sleater-Kinney appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, Monday December 14th, where they sang their latest single ‘Bury Our Friends‘. The song is from their newest studio album No Cities To Love, the first album the band has released in a decade. It was released early in the year to huge critical acclaim.
And this song, and the women of Sleater-Kinney of course, absolutely rocked last night. Because this song and this album are some of the best work they have ever done, and their performance on Stephen Colbert of ‘Bury Our Friends‘ was energetic, rich and pretty darned tight.
