The upcoming new fashion anime Smile Down the Runway has received a new cast member reveal.
The new additions to the Smile Down the Runway cast include Ayaka Fukuhara, Kouhei Amasaki, Keiko Han, Yui Makino and Mayumi Asano — the characters of all five of which also received character design reveals this week (see graphics above and below).
Smile Down the Runway, which is called Runway de Waratte in Japan, is based on the popular Kotoba Inoya manga, and tells the story of a group of young fashionistas who are desperate to work in the high fashion industry.
The problem is all of them have things in their lives that may just prevent them from doing so.
The new voice actors/actresses revealed in this week’s news are Ayaka Fukuhara (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) who plays Kaoru Kizaki, Kouhei Amasaki (Black Clover, Dororo, Charlotte) who plays Ryuunosuke Eda, Keiko Han (Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious) who is Youko Takaoka, Yui Makino (Shōnen Maid) who plays Seira and Mayumi Asano (7 Seeds) who is Mai Ayano.
Smile Down the Runway is being directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama and produced by Ezo’la.
It will begin airing in Japan on January 10th.
