Spanish Band Partido’s ‘There Will Be Blood’ is Pop-Rock at Its Best: Repeat Rotation Video

partido there will be blood

Spanish band Partido aren’t very well known, even in Spain, and they should be as they’ve been around for a few years. Their music, a mix between pop-rock and folk, has a unique sound and their songs are quite addictive. That’s why I’m listening to a new Partido song for my Repeat Rotation Video today. Called ‘There Will Be Blood‘, it’s from their latest album ‘The Ruins‘, and it is very cool.

Partido is from Barcelona, Spain and is fronted by singer Victor Partido, who also plays acoustic guitar on most of the band’s tracks. Eduardo Martinez plays harmonica, Marcos Deker is the piano and keyboard guy, Nacho Yoldi contributes vocals, plus electric and acoustic guitar, and drums are by Jose Cattaneo. Most of Partido’s songs are also sung in English, which should definitely open them up to a wider audience.

All I know is I’m predicting big things for Partido. Their songs tend to stay with you and their pop-rock (folk) sound is fresh.

You can buy ‘The Ruins‘ on iTunes which, of course, includes ‘There Will Be Blood‘ and another single ‘The Apologist‘.

Meanwhile, listen to Partido singing ‘There Will Be Blood‘ in the video below. Isn’t that a great song?
