Well, this is just about the biggest news in anime this week.
The much loved fantasy series Spice and Wolf is getting a third anime project.
No information yet on whether it is a third season or a movie but, according to its official Twitter account, the project is part of the Spice and Wolf light novel’s 15th anniversary.
Along with the anime announcement, a Spice and Wolf key visual for the third anime was released, as well as a very short teaser trailer, which you can watch below.

The first season of the anime premiered in January, 2008, with the 12-episode second season arriving in April, 2009.
Both seasons were directed by Takeo Takahashi.
Since the second season ended in September, 2009, however, we haven’t had another Spice and Wolf anime release.
That’s a long time, so today’s news is definitely big.
The Spice and Wolf light novel (aka Ookami to Koushinryou) is written by Isuna Hasekura, with illustrations by Jū Ayakura, with 23 volumes currently out in Japanese and 22 in English so far.
Yen Press publishes the books in North America.
