The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has just been released and it’s pretty freaking beautiful.
The movie stars British actors John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as reformed First Order stormtrooper Finn and Jakku scavenger Rey, and also sees the return of Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia and Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
And, while the release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer yesterday has already caused the online ticket sales website to crash (come on, guys, it doesn’t even release until December 18th), and every Star Wars fan I’ve spoken to is incredibly excited for the release (well, it is the first movie in the franchise since 2005’s Revenge of the Sith), I’m also betting, just from seeing the trailer, it’s going to catapult John Boyega and Daisy Ridley into superstardom. As this film looks seriously amazing, and so do they.
