Stranger Things 3: The Game is a retro 16-bit video game that looks cool, but where is Netflix app for Nintendo Switch?
Netflix continues to prove it is going to milk Stranger Things for all it possibly can with the release today of BonusXP’s companion title to Stranger Things: Season 3 — Stranger Things 3: The Game.
The game is a third-person beat ’em up, is played in overhead view and features a cool 16-bit art style.
It is the follow up to Stranger Things: The Game but, whereas that one was a single-player game only, Stranger Things 3: The Game offers both solo play and two-player co-op.
It also features the same storyline as the TV series, so you literally can play along as you watch.
Stranger Things 3: The Game features 12 playable characters — including Eleven, Mike and Dustin — and has a number of events from Season 3 of the TV show. Characters have special abilities, and will also be able to collect materials to craft items, giving them certain advantages during fights.
BonusXP says they will be releasing new events, secrets and conversations between characters as well, so content should stay fresh for quite a while.
Gameplay involves exploring the town of Hawkins, along with fighting enemies from The Upside Down. Once you have played through to the end, which takes around 25 hours, Eliminator Mode will be unlocked so you can play it again. But next time tougher.
Stranger Things 3: The Game is currently available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
But where is the Netflix app for the NintendoSwitch?
And, while it is pretty cool Stranger Things games are a thing, if you read the YouTube comments on the trailer for the new game, most fans seem to have other things on their minds when it comes to it being available on the Nintendo Switch.
Namely, why is this new Stranger Things game playable on the Switch, but Netflix has yet to allow users to watch their favorite Netflix shows on the Switch on a Netflix app? Something fans have been asking about for well over a year, and Netflix still doesn’t have an answer.
In other words, most fans seem to be saying “Game is cool enough, but where’s my Netflix?”
Meanwhile, if you do want to play the just released yesterday game, check out the Stranger Things 3: The Game trailer below.
