Now I have to admit, I am a sucker for an anime with sweet characters and a laid-back plot that make me feel relaxed and happy, no matter what else might be going on in my life.
Anime like the upcoming Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included and, yes, I can say “upcoming” as an anime adaptation of the original manga series by Matoba was announced earlier today.
And, if the just released Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included trailer and key visual are anything to go by, this one looks lovely.
What is Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included about?
If you haven’t been reading the manga the anime is based on, here is a quick rundown on its plot.
Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included tells the story of Shintaro Tokumitsu, a high schooler who lives alone, but whose life suddenly changes when he discovers a girl called Towa sleeping on his balcony.
Not just any girl, though, as Towa could just be an angel in disguise. Well, actually, she’s not disguised at all.
Kenta Oonishi (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter) is directing the anime, with Shougo Yasukawa (Ayakashi Triangle) in charge of series composition and scripts, and Yuuyu Uetake (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter) designing the characters.
Anime studio Okuruto Noboru (Tomodachi Game) is in charge of anime production.

Along with the announcements of the anime’s main staff today, we also learned Shuuichirou Umeda (Akira in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) will be playing Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included‘s Shintaro Tokumitsu, while the adorably cute Towa will be voiced by Hikaru Toono (Yujia in Assault Lily: Bouquet).
Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included is the second anime based on a matoba manga, as the mangaka’s previous manga series, As Miss Beelzebub Likes, was also given an anime adaptation in 2018.
