There’s a new trailer just out for Bandai Namco’s Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris game, which is due for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2020.
The trailer was released on Sunday in the lead up to last night’s kickoff of Gamescom.
The new Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris Gamecom trailer introduces new character, the kickass Medina Orthinanos.
She appears at the end of the trailer with the declaration:
“I am Medina Orthinanos. I shall take up your sword, become an Integrity Knight and by my own hand I shall clear our family name!”
Alrighty, then!
The character is voiced by Japanese voice actress Miho Okasaki, who also played Rimuru Tempest in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series.
Along with the Gamescom trailer, Bandai Namco also released a new and quite beautiful Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris key visual on the game’s website.

There is also a longer Japanese-language version of the trailer below that if you want to see more of the gorgeous animation from the game.
And, if you haven’t seen the hit anime series Sword Art Online: Alicization yet, and I recommend you do as it is one of the best anime of recent years, it is currently streaming on Crunchyroll in some regions.
