The new The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime series just got an utterly adorable key visual as the Project No. 9 animation studio continues to promote the upcoming comedy romance series.
(see the visual below)
The latest The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten key visual features Mahiru Shiina at the beach, looking like the “Angel” her nickname says she is.
Well, yep, she is beautiful.
The new key visual is the first of a series of seasonally-themed visual that will come out each month.
Along with it, the studio also released a short video featuring the voice of actress Manaka Iwami who is playing Mahiru.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is based on the light novel series written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto.
Kenichi Imaizumi (After School Dice Club) is directing the anime, with Keiichiro Ochi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) in charge of series composition.
Project No. 9 (Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway) is in charge of anime production.
Yen Press is publishing the light novels in English, with three currently out. They describe the plot like this:
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school.
Everything changes, however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime will premiere some time in 2023.
