The Apothecary Diaries’ Autumn visual has Jinshi lovingly pluck a leaf from Maomao’s hair

One of the many lovely things about The Apothecary Diaries  is the beautiful visuals the anime’s official X account has been releasing since well before its first episode ever released.

Once the anime premiered, of course, they then began releasing a series of seasonal visuals featuring protagonists Jinshi or Maomao, or both — and always with a fitting theme for that season.

Today, we got another in those The Apothecary Diaries‘ seasonal visuals.

This time one called ‘Autumn Leaves’ — and one showing Maomao with broom in hand pausing her leaf sweeping to look up at all the beautiful Autumn colors, while Jinshi sneaks up behind her to lovingly pluck a leaf from her hair.

Yes, the boy still has it bad and, apparently, Maomao still wants nothing to do with it.

The Apothecary Diaries’ X account also promised a new seasonal visual heading our way on the 22nd of every month from now on.

Each visual will showcase a different seasonal plant, with November being the month of autumn leaves.

The Apothecary Diaries, Season 2

Meanwhile, every Apothecary Diaries‘ fan is desperately waiting for Season 2 to launch on January 10th, 2025, with studios TOHO Animation Studio and OLM already promising it will be another two cours season — running for a total of six months, consecutively.

Director Norihiro Naganuma is back, but this time as chief director, with Akimi Fudesaka who was Assistant Director for Season 1 directing.

Yukiko Nakatani is also back designing those wonderful characters.

Enjoy the new The Apothecary Diaries Autumn Leaves visual, and keep an eye open for the next one in the series heading our way on December 22nd.

And, if you love the new visual as much as I do, you can download the Autumn Leaves visual, and all the rest of the visual released over the least year, as phone or laptop wallpapers.
