The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy anime announced – Riselia and Leonis are coming to life — Yay!

So excited with today’s announcement that the light novel series The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy (aka Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai) is getting an anime adaptation.

The Yū Shimizu novels, which are illustrated by Asagi Tōsaka, should be perfect for an anime adaptation, especially as Riselia and Leonis are such fabulous characters and the world they live in, and its backstory, is fascinating.



The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy anime was officially announced in a new promo video for the series’ eighth volume, which is coming out in Japan next Monday. (watch below)

The 1:20 second second video looks at some of the story of The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy while illustrating some of the light novels’ coolest moments. And, of course, getting us excited for its upcoming anime.

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy currently has four volumes out in English, with the fifth releasing in February, 2022.
