The Divorce Insurance EP12 ends series with slightly higher ratings but still a flop

The final episode of the workplace-themed rom-com The Divorce Insurance aired last night to slightly higher ratings than its penultimate episode, but certainly did not end the Korean drama with a bang.

Instead, The Divorce Insurance, Episode 12 aired and, with its still awful ratings as the final episode ended, proved the tvN drama was a flop yet again.

That nationwide rating, by the way, was just 1.10 percent of the audience share.

Granted, a tiny increase from the Korean drama’s all-time low rated previous episode’s 0.9 percent, but pretty terrible ratings nevertheless.

And ratings that meant The Divorce Insurance was the 14th most-watched show of the day. Certainly not great viewership for the series finale of a K-drama, eh?

The Divorce Insurance performing very well on Amazon Prime Video

Interestingly, however, the Korean drama has been performing extremely well on Amazon Prime Video, where it is streaming internationally.

According to Flix Patrol, as of yesterday The Divorce Insurance is currently in the Top 10 in 21 countries, including hitting the #1 spot in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore, and has an average ranking in all 21 countries at #5.

International viewers watching it on the streaming platform are also rating the K-drama 5 stars out of 5 stars. Go figure!

The Divorce Insurance stars the mainly-wasted main cast (it was the script that was the problem!) of Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo and Lee Da Hee.

The Korean rom-com’s 12-episodes aired from March 31st, to May 6th, 2025, with all 12 episodes now able to be streamed on Amazon Prime.
