The upcoming J.C. Staff fantasy time travel anime The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor has gotten a new visual, three new cast members and a character PV (watch down below).
The new The Do-Over Damsel visual features now-10-year-old Jill running happily off somewhere, while her new fiancé 19-year-old Dragon Emperor Hades Theos Rave looks fondly on in the background.
Meanwhile, the dragon god Rave flies above Jill’s shoulder looking as happy as she does.
Along with the latest The Do-Over Damsel key visual, three new characters and their voice actors were also announced.
They are:
Camila voiced by Mari Hino (Shushu Suruga in Chained Soldier), the dragon god, Rave, himself — voiced by Shiori Ozawa (Nanachi in Made in Abyss), and Zeke played by Tatsumaru Tachibana (Basen in The Apothecary Diaries).
You can hear the voice actors playing their parts in the character PV at the bottom of the page, and check out those cool-looking character designs below.
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor light novels
The upcoming fantasy anime series is based on the light novels written by Sarasa Nagase, and illustrated by Mitsuya Fuji.
There are currently six volumes out in Japanese, with Cross Infinite World publishing them in English, and with four volumes out so far.
Yen Press is publishing the novels’ manga adaptation, and they describe the story like this:
Jill Cervel, the magically gifted daughter of a noble family, dedicated her life to training for war. It was all for her fiancé and one true love, Prince Gerald der Kratos… until he sentences her to death for discovering his dark secret!
In her final moments, Jill wishes for another chance at a normal life.
As it turns out, she just might get her wish, but there’s a catch—she has to propose to her kingdom’s future rival, the Dragon Emperor! It’s a reluctant vow for Jill, but it could end up changing the course of history…
Kentarou Suzuki (Requiem of the Rose King) is directing the anime, with Atsuo Ishino (Baki Hanma VS Kengan Ashura) in charge of series composition, and Sana Komatsu (The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3) designing the characters.
As previously mentioned, J.C. Staff is in charge of anime production.
RELATED: Now The Do-Over Damsel has released, here’s why the first episode is so good!
And yes, the plot is very very similar to the recently ended anime 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!, but it still looks kinda fun!
Now watch the new character PV below.
The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor premieres some time in October, 2024.

Obsessed with anime and manga. Desperate for time to stop with only me left moving in the world. Then I’d have the time needed to watch the 543 anime DVDs I own, and read the more than 1,000 manga.
