While digital versions of hit manga are still incredibly popular, there is also a solid core of manga and light novel fans like me who prefer print editions of many of their favorite stories.
That is why J-Novel Club has just announced a print publishing partnership with Yen Press that will publish print editions of many of the digital volumes J-Novel Club currently offers.
According to an announcement from the digital publishing platform at Anime NYC yesterday, the print volumes of both light novels and manga series will be high-quality, and will keep the same translations as the digital versions.
One of the likely-to-be very popular light novel series that will be receiving the print treatment is fantasy reincarnation novel The Misfit of Demon King Academy.
Especially as its anime adaptation has done so well.
According to J-Novel Club, a The Misfit of Demon King Academy print edition will be one of the first manga to receive the new print edition treatment.
With two volumes of The Misfit of Demon King Academy already out on their digital platform, another on the way in January, 2023, and 15 volumes currently available in Japanese, there will also be a fair number of volumes to collect.
J-Novel Club describes The Misfit of Demon King Academy plot in this way:
