The Queen Who Crowns Ep 9 ratings head back up with substantial increase
After dropping to an all-time low with Episode 8, The Queen Who Crowns, Episode 9 headed back up in the ratings on Monday night, ending up with a substantial ratings increase over its previous episode.
Nielsen Korea is reporting The Queen Who Crowns, Episode 9 earned 4.88 percent of the nationwide audience last night, compared to its previous episode’s low of 3.56 percent.
That also placed the Korean drama in the #1 spot in its time slot. A place it has held for every episode released so far.
The tvN/TVING drama performed even better in Seoul, where it saw a jump from Episode 8’s audience share of 3.53 percent to last night’s 5.05 percent — a substantial increase indeed.
Overall, however, other than the one drop for Episode 8, the ratings for The Queen Who Crowns have been pretty consistent since it premiered on January 6th.
Barring another unexpected fall over the next week, it is likely then that the K-drama will end on February 11th with the same solid ratings is has earned throughout its run.
Meanwhile, as far as international viewers are concerned, Viki users are still commenting extremely positively about the series, and rating the K-drama a very high 9.3 out of 10.
