The Rising of the Shield Hero 2 English dub cast includes Stephen Fu and Erica Mendez

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 English dub cast has been announced, and quite a few heavy hitters are included in that list.

The English dubbed version of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 will premiere on May 4th on Crunchyroll.

That means there are just a couple of days before you get to hear them in action then.

The new dub cast includes:

  • Stephen Fu (Kojirou in Orient) as Naofumi
  • Erica Mendez (Diane in The Seven Deadly Sins) as Raphtalia
  • Brianna Knickerbocker (Tuesday in Carole and Tuesday) as Filo
  • Amber Lee Connors (Komi in Komi Can’t Communicate) as Ost Horai
  • Sean Chiplock (Ken in Tokyo Revengers) as Kyo Ethnina
  • Dawn M. Bennett (Neiru in Wonder Egg Priority) as Eclair Seaetto

Stephen Fu, of course, will be replacing Billy Kametz who voiced Naofumi beautifully in Season 1 of the hit anime series.

Kametz has been diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer, and is currently taking a hiatus from his voice acting career while he obtains treatment.

The Rising of the Shield Hero Season is being directed by Masato Jinbo (Heya Camp), with Keigo Koyanagi back in charge of series composition,.

Masahiro Suwa is also back as character designer.

The fantasy action anime is based on the manga series by Aneko Yusagi and Seira Minami.

The Rising of the Shield Hero, Seasons 1 and 2, are currently airing on Crunchyroll.
