Now this is sad news.

Just as I’m getting into the The Savior’s Book Café Story in Another World manga, and enjoying it very much, it has been announced Volume 5 will be the last volume in the series.

As The Savior’s Book Café Story in Another World Volume 5 will be published in Japan on May 18th, that means the end is arriving quite soon.

For those of you who haven’t discovered this delightful manga series yet, and especially those who love books, The Savior’s Book Café Story in Another World tells the story of 33-year-old Tsukina who is transported to another world.

A world in which she is expected to be a ‘Savior’, and a world she has no interest in going to.

But when God tells her she has no choice, she makes sure all her wishes are granted. After all, if you’re forced to live in another world, you might as well have the perfect life when you get there, right?

That includes owning a cute book cafe on the edge of a forest, and the ability to create anything she wants from a magic menu system.

But, just as she is settling down to enjoy her new life reading books in front of the fire, a handsome stranger appears in the cafe’s doorway, and it turns out he loves to read the same kinds of books Tsukina enjoys.

The Savior’s Book Café Story in Another World is by Kyouka Izumi, Oumiya, and Reiko Sakurada, and has been published on Shogakukan‘s Ura Sunday website since July, 2019.

 

Volume 2 will be out in English in April

The first volume of The Savior’s Book Café Story in Another World is currently available in English via Seven Seas Entertainment.

Volume 2 in the series will be out in English on April 12th, with the third volume arriving in July.
