The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses’ Anemone character video – a tough assassin, but is she really?

Comedy anime The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses‘ latest character video dropped earlier today, and this time it’s Anemone who grabs the spotlight.

Anemone is one of the three assassins whose job it is to murder protagonist Toto.

A man who is shy but well-meaning, and so would never consider for one second that these three women that have joined him on his travels are only there until they kill him.

Anemone’s character video also came with a cool character visual featuring the scantily-clad assassin toting a gun, and looking at the camera.

Both were released via The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses‘ official X account.

As for Anemone’s character video, which drops a week after the one for Ciel, we learn quickly that the deep-voiced assassin is a gun expert — any type of gun.

But, while she might seem as though she’s tough and hardened, in reality, Anemone cannot help but blush when Toto misreads a situation, and so jumps in promising to “protect” her.

Anemone is voiced by Hitomi Ueda (Gold Ship in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby).

The upcoming anime adaptation of the fantasy action comedy manga written by Norishiro-chan and illustrated by Yukiji Setsuda is being directed by Noriaki Akitaya (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer).

Series composition is by Michiko Yokote (Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill), and with Takao Sano (The Honor Student at Magic High School) designing the anime’s characters.

Studio CONNECT (Ayakashi Triangle) is animating.

The anime series is scheduled to premiere July, 2025.
