British indie rock band The Wombats are a band from Liverpool, England that I’ve been following for a fair while. They released a video last month for their new single — ‘Greek Tragedy‘ — and, can I just say, I’m loving the video as it shows each band member being killed. (Come on, that’s cool).
‘Greek Tragedy‘ is from The Wombats upcoming third album ‘Glitterbug‘ and, if it and the first single they released from the album (‘Your Body is a Weapon‘) are anything to go by, it’s going to be a pretty good one. It’s also being produced by Mark Crew of Bastille so, yeah, I’m expecting great things.
‘Glitterbug‘ is due to be released in early April on iTunes and at various other digital distributors. The band has also just kicked off a short UK tour that will run through the end of April.
Until the album releases, though, do listen to The Wombats singing ‘Greek Tragedy‘ below. Isn’t that a cool rock song?
