These Resident Evil 2 Remake demo walkthroughs prove the game’s difficulty

Resident Evil 2 Remake demo difficult?

Resident Evil 2 Remake difficulty level may be extreme

You know a game is going to be difficult when most people that download the demo can’t even finish that. Either that or modern gamers are just really really slow.

According to Capcom, that is what has happened with the Resident Evil 2 Remake and its one-shot 30-minute demo that more than three million people downloaded, yet only 26 percent actually finished.

Capcom knows this as, of the around three million players that downloaded the demo, 2,440,739 used the Resident Evil.Net stat tracking feature. That means the devs could check out what was happening with their gameplay.

Of that number, only 26 percent managed to get through their Resident Evil 2 Remake demo walkthroughs right to the ending.

Let’s face it, that percentage of completion in a demo doesn’t bode well for completion of the full game now, does it? Or for the difficulty level of the game.

Unless, of course, modern gamers just play through a game like this at the pace of a snail.

Actually, I am only teasing, as I always found Resident Evil games to be difficult, and know for a fact I couldn’t have completed any Resident Evil 2 Remake demo walkhroughs in 30 minutes. Especially as I have played three of the franchise’s games in the past and, as far as I remember, have never actually seen the ending of any.

If your gaming skills are better than mine, try out the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo and see how you do. Grab it now, though, as it will permanently disappear on January 31st.

Or, you could just watch The Rad Brad’s full walkthrough of the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo. He had to make two attempts before he completed it. In the second attempt, he completed the demo with only 37 seconds left. Yikes!
