This Stranger Things 3: The Game walkthrough finishes game in 7 1/2 hours

I have never been interested in the Stranger Things 3: The Game. I don’t care for 16-bit artwork, and I don’t like the Stranger Things Netflix series, so playing through a 10 to 15 hour game as one of the Stranger Things characters didn’t appeal to me.

That being said, I was still interested in what developer BonusXP has done with the game.

Especially as it is available on all platforms, and you just know, with the rabid Stranger Things fan base, it will probably be a huge hit.

Queue a full Stranger Things 3: The Game walkthrough from popular YouTube gamer RabidRetrospectGames.

He has played the game straight through via a YouTube stream, and completed it in just under 7 1/2 hours.

His Stranger Things 3: The Game walkthrough includes all the main missions, cut scenes, boss fights, and endings. He plays the game without the music playing, so you will have to buy it if you want to hear that, as Netflix copyright strikes would probably have nabbed him if he had included it.

He also mentions in the chat of the live stream he has not watched the Stranger Things show, so he is playing the game blind. That means he may have missed some things because of that.

Honestly, though, from what I could see, he didn’t seem to miss much. Although I haven’t watched the third season either, so you may think differently.

Remember too, this Stranger Things 3: The Game is not the same game the streaming service was working on with Telltale Games before they shut down last year.

Overall, that version of the game was probably a  lot prettier, as Telltale was known for their gorgeous graphics. But..if you enjoy 16-bit artwork, and a bit of a quirky gameplay style, I think you will enjoy BonusXP’s version.

They have done a very nice job.

You can pick up the game now on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.

As for what fans seem to think of the just released game so far?

Many of them seem more annoyed that a Netflix app is not available for the Nintendo Switch than anything else, as they’d like to watch the Stranger Things series on theirs.
