Geek Week on YouTube has had some absolute gem videos (Yogscast’s YogsQuest anyone?), but none more so than Thor: The Dark World official trailer. I don’t know where I’ve been as I didn’t even have an inkling there was a new Thor movie in the works but, apparently there is and it’s gonna be awesome.

Called Thor: The Dark World, it’s coming out on November 8th (oh my god, three months to wait — torture!) and, let me tell you, if Thor: The Dark World doesn’t have the best movie cast ever, I don’t know which movie has.

Chris Hemsworth (major stud),

Christopher Eccleston (oh my God, it’s Doctor Who!!),

Natalie Portman (major babe and one of the best young actresses ever),

Anthony Hopkins (best British actor alive today),

Stellan Skarsgård (Good Will Hunting, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Hunt for Red October, Deep Blue Sea, Dancer in the Dark, King Arthur — Sweden has some incredible talent but this guy takes the cake and he’s still so handsome at 62),

Rene Russo (awesome actress, still stunning and almost 60),

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (my favorite person in The Bourne Identity),

and Tom Hiddleston (did you see him as Loki in The Avengers? Oh my freaking lord)

Like I said, Thor: The Dark World has the best movie cast ever, and I don’t think I’m going to sleep between now and November, as I can hardly wait.
