When I first started playing video games a couple of decades ago, I got into the detective video game genre in a big way. So much so, I’ve probably played at least half of the detective games out there.
Now WatchMojo has put together a video of their top 10 best detective video games, and I was interested to see not only how many I had played, but if I agreed with them being put on the list. After all, one person’s top 10 detective video games isn’t always mine.
That being said, I have to admit WatchMojo did a pretty decent job of picking out ten of the best detective games out there. Games like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, which comes in at number 10 with its excellent puzzles and interesting cases.
Or 2013’s The Wolf Among Us at number 8, with its gorgeous art style, and interesting characters. And, coming in at number 2, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, with its logic puzzles and cool storyline.
As for the detective game in the number 1 spot, yes, I not only agree with WatchMojo’s choice, I think it’s one of the best games ever create.
Watch the video to find out which game they picked.
