Tove Lo was at the Billboard Music Awards 2016 last night where she was asked why she thinks her new song ‘Close‘, recorded in collaboration with Nick Jonas, was so popular with fans.
According to Lo, she and Nick Jonas have been friends for a while, which she thinks has definitely helped when it comes to the success of ‘Close‘.
“We both really relate to the song and the lyrics, so I think we both know how to express that emotion, because we’ve both been through it.”
She then went on to admit, “And I mean he’s hot. And it’s very easy to connect with someone like that”, and she laughed.
Tove Lo also spoke about her next album, which she has just finished recording.
“You’ll hear new stuff soon. Very soon.”
Lo went on to say she will also be preparing for the Maroon 5 tour, the band she will be touring with at the end of the summer.
As for Tove’s collaboration with Nick Jonas last night? She and the hot man performed ‘Close‘ live at the Billboard Music Awards, to the delight of fans and celebrities alike.
