Swedish indie pop singer and songwriter Tove Lo was on David Letterman on Monday night, where she sang her new single ‘Talking Body‘ — barefoot and killing it. The song, according to Lo, is about two people who are in a relationship but having major problems, so they decide to have lots of sex to try to solve them. Hmmmmm.
Tove’s Letterman performance isn’t the only thing she’s doing in New York this week either. In fact, it was the first of three appearances in the city.
Later on today, she’ll be on Good Morning America talking about her music and singing, followed by a concert tomorrow night (Wednesday March 25, 2015) at the Highline Ballroom starting at 8pm.
Not bad for a girl from Stockholm who always thought she was going to be a songwriter instead of a singer.
Tove Lo’s single ‘Talking Body‘ is from her debut album ‘Queen of the Clouds‘, which is available for download at iTunes.
Oh and, by the way, her name is not pronounced Tove Lo as Dave pronounces it. In Swedish it’s actually pronounced more like ‘Toovə Loo’, which you can hear her say correctly in the second video below.
