Train to the End of the World Shizuru Chikura character video intros feisty girl with a big personality

If I wasn’t already desperate for the upcoming anime series Train to the End of the World to begin streaming, I would be after watching the just released Shizuru Chikura character video.

Because, let’s face it, if you like girls with a huge personality, an expressive face and a feisty, don’t care attitude, she definitely fits the bill.

Even in the less than 30-second Shizuru Chikura character video, you already get a good idea of the type of person she is, and don’t get me started on how darned cute or how superb the voice acting.

Shizuru is the leader of the girls who take an abandoned train and head out of the strangeness their town has become after an event changed it forever, and off into the outside world to look for a missing friend.

A world where they have no idea what they will find, or if they will ever be able to make their way back.

It’s a good job she’s a Jiu-Jitsu expert, eh?

Shizuru Chikura is voiced by Chika Anzai.

If you have heard her superb work playing Chisato in Lycoris Recoil, as Chise in SSSS.Dynazenon, Hime in Kakushigoto or as Reina in Hibike! Euphonium, you will know just how wonderfully she brings her characters to life.

Yep, this is an anime to look forward to!
