Now it’s patently obvious Donald Trump has no idea how the average American lives. Nor, for that matter, does he care.
But it was proof positive yesterday Trump has zero idea about an average American’s life when, in a speech at a campaign rally in Florida, he told the crowd Americans need an ID to buy groceries. Yep. Trump is that out of touch with reality.
Trump’s comment came during a section in his rambling speech about the need for stronger voter ID laws. Something the Republican Party is currently pushing in an aim to eliminate potential Democrat voters from voting roles before the November mid-terms.
And it was a comment Trump made about instances where Americans need to show ID. A comment that showed, yet again, just how badly-educated and ignorant this so-called ‘president’ is.
“You know, if you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID. You go out and you want to buy anything, you need ID and you need your picture”.
Of course, Twitter had a laugh at Trump’s expense because, come on, you can’t let something that stupid go, right?
Trump: “If you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card. You need ID.”
This man has never bought a carton of milk in his life, has he?

Well now I know I’ve done at least two things Trump hasn’t… worn size ‘large’ gloves and been in a grocery store. https://t.co/gSEWCtePOf
