Previously released Twin Martial Souls poster

There is a new release poster out for historical martial arts donghua ‘Shuangsheng Wu Hun‘ (双生武魂 or ‘Twin Martial Souls‘), and it makes the upcoming Chinese anime look even cooler. (check it out below along with its most recent trailer)

The Shuangsheng Wu Hun poster was released on the official Suoyi Technology Weibo account a couple of days ago, along with the message:

“So what if my powers are gone? Awaken the Twin Martial Souls and rise again!”

📅 Premiere Date: May 15th, 2025
⏰ Schedule: Every Wednesday & Thursday at 9:00 AM (Beijing Time)
Exclusively on Bilibili – Brace for an epic comeback!

The new Chinese anime is animated by Suoyi Technology.

A Chinese animation studio that has created a long, long list of standout donghua series in the eight years since it was established, including the recently-premiered My Senior Brother is Too Strong and the long-running One Hundred Thousand Years of Qi Refining, so this one should be good.

The Shuangsheng Wu Hun release poster features protagonist Lin Fan front and center.

The Twin Martial Souls plot goes like this:

Born into a noble family of Dalin County, Lin Fan was once a peerless genius who earned the prestigious “Heaven’s Pride Token.” But his fate turned when his fiancée stole his Martial Soul, reducing him to a crippled outcast.

Everything changes, however, when an ancient demon of mysterious origins takes refuge in his body—reawakening his dormant Martial Soul and granting him the legendary Twin Martial Souls constitution.

From this moment, Lin Fan embarks on a meteoric rise, breaking free from his humble beginnings in a borderland county to conquer the boundless realms of heaven and earth.

In other words, it sounds like this one could be perfect for fans of Battle Through the Heavens, Martial Universe & other underdog cultivation epics!

Number of Twin Martial Souls episodes?

Chinese news media is reporting Twin Martial Souls will consist of 8 story arcs totaling 80 episodes, with 50 episodes already approved for release via China’s content review process.

Look out for the donghua hitting Bilibili’s international streaming platform, and its Made by Bilibili YouTube channel, soon.
