Introducing Asahi Amagami from Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime
Today, we are unveiling the youngest daughter of the Amagami family, Asahi Amagami, and the latest character trailer for the upcoming TV anime Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister (akamagami-Sanchi no Enmusubi in Japanese).
The just released Asahi Amagami character trailer offers a glimpse into Asahi’s role and cute personality.
A sweet girl with a husky voice, if the truth be told.
And an Amagami sister who, according to the new trailer, apparently, thinks you should love her just like she was your real sister.
Hmmmm.
The upcoming Studio Drive-produced anime is scheduled to premiere some time in Japan in 2024, so it’s about time we meet the anime’s main characters now, isn’t it?
Although, at the moment, the name of the voice actor portraying Asahi Amagami, and the names of the rest of the voice cast, have yet to be released.
Behind the Scenes of Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister
Meanwhile, we do know a little bit about the anime’s staff.
They are director Yuujirou Abe (KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!), with Hiroshi Watanabe (Slayers Great) assuming the role of assistant director, which ensures a seamless production process.
Yasuko Aoki (script My Tiny Senpai) is in charge of series composition, and Haruko Iizuka (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) is designing the cute characters.
The anime series itself promises to captivate audiences with its fun blend of humor and romance.
Manga Origins and Creative Team
Originally serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Sunday manga magazine, Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister written and illustrated by Marcey Naito has garnered widespread acclaim since.
Its English language version, which is being published by Kodansha USA, has further expanded its reach.
Especially as there are currently 11 volumes already out in English, with Volume 12 releasing next month.
Kodansha explains the story of the popular manga series like this:
Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life, but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream-matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke.
Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters-but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the shrine!
