Viola Davis was part of the huge cast of characters from the upcoming ‘Suicide Squad‘ that appeared on Conan’s panel at Comic-Con last week. And, while there, Conan made it patently obvious that, as far as he was concerned, Viola’s character, Amanda Waller, was the ‘biggest bad ass’ of the whole darned movie.
“Which is weird. Because, you have no super powers, but you really have the most — you’re the one I fear the most,” explained Conan.
“Because I can kick some ass”, replied Viola in a matter of fact voice.
It turns out, though, Viola had a little bit of help when it came to finding what it took to play Amanda Waller effectively. And that help came from director David Ayer.
“He really wanted me to control Joel Kinnaman, who played Rick Flag, so he laid right into me in one said and said (in my ear) “Call him a bitch”.
