Jackson Browne gave a beautiful, and quite moving and sad, acoustic performance of his single ‘The Long Way Around‘ on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week.
The song is from his 2014 album Standing in the Breach, and is about the madness of gun violence in the United States, the inequality of so many, and how society is not where Browne thought it would be when he was young.
Jackson Browne’s performance on ‘Stephen Colbert‘ is part of a mini tour he is doing to promote Standing in the Breach. A North American tour that will finish, for now, on January 29th in Virginia Beach.
The iconic singer will then be off to Australia and New Zealand in March, with a return to the United States for more concerts in April.
