Lo And Behold: Reveries Of The Connected World looks at the future of the Internet
As the Internet continues its march forward into every area of our lives, some people still talk about the ‘evils of the Internet’, or complain how few positive things have come of it. (Seriously, how could you possibly ever think that when you have access to most of the world’s information right at your fingertips?)
Now renowned filmmaker Werner Herzog looks at the Internet, its impact on our lives , past, present and future, and how it is changing our world in his new documentary Lo And Behold: Reveries Of The Connected World. A documentary that premiered at The Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to rave reviews.
In it we will see everyone from Elon Musk, who wants to colonize Mars and communicate with the people living there via the Internet, to Buddhist monks who spend a huge amount of their time on Twitter, and Lawrence Krauss who asks the question “Will our children’s children’s children need the companionship of others, or will they have evolved in a world where that is not important due to communication over the Internet?”
Watch the trailer for Werner Herzog’s ‘Lo And Behold: Reveries Of The Connected World’ below. If nothing else, it looks interesting.
