Watch Prey’s GLOO Cannon Immobilize Mimics with Glue So You Can Kill ‘Em (Video)

As if Arkane Studio’s upcoming new first-person shooter Prey doesn’t already look cool enough, you have got to check out the GLOO Cannon. A gun that immobilizes the shape-shifting Mimics by shooting glue at them, which then hardens holding them fast. It just doesn’t actually kill them.

Once they are frozen, however, you can then use other methods to make sure they die.

Prey’s GLOO Cannon can also be used to put out things that are on fire, or stop an electrical box surge. You can even use its rapidly hardening glue to create new walkways for Morgan Yu as he moves around the space station. It is equipped with canisters that hold the glue.

The GLOO Cannon video below, which shows the weapon in all its sticky glory, was shot from gameplay on XBox One. Just check out that bad boy. It could come in very handy.

Prey is due for release on May 5 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can pre-order the game now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on most major gaming sites.
