The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince trailer makes this game look so sad
A new The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince trailer has just been released by Nintendo and, if the couple of minutes of side-scrolling in-game footage is anything to go by, this upcoming Nintendo Switch action adventure game looks like it is going to be sweet but also quite sad.
The game was developed by Nippon Ichi Software and tells the story of a prince who is attracted to the sound of a wolf singing. But when he approaches the wolf, she thinks he has seen her true form so she scratches him causing him to go blind.
Feeling remorseful, however, the wolf seeks out the help of a forest witch to heal the prince. The wolf is told she must give up something in return for the prince’s healing, so she gives up her beautiful voice.
She is then transformed into a princess and must lead the prince through the forest to the witch’s lair, where he can hopefully be healed.
The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince trailer includes in-game footage, and shows how both the Liar Princess’s wolf and human forms can be used to help guide the prince through the forest to the pair’s ultimate destination.
Watch the game’s trailer below.
The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince will be released for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on February 12, 2019 in both digital and physical forms.
It has gorgeous graphics, lovely music, a sweet, sad, storybook feel and challenging puzzles.
