Watch ‘Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World’s’ Jeanne character video as it profiles Knight of Spirit Light

Earlier in the month, Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?’s protagonist Kai got a character video, followed by one for both Asuran and Saki last week.

Now, this week, it’s Jeanne’s turn.

Jeanne E. Anise is one of two female main characters.

All we can figure out from Jeanne’s character trailer, however, is she used to know Kai before history was overwritten and now, like everyone else in the new world, she no longer remembers him.

Meanwhile, the anime’s official website describes Jeanne in the world that has been overwritten as the hope of humanity, or the “Knight of Spirit Light”.

Jeanne is voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (Hime in ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess).

The origins of the Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? anime

The upcoming anime is based on the light novels written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Neco, which are being published in English via BOOKWALKER.

It is being directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa (Pon no Michi), with Project No. 9 (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) in charge of anime production.

My Anime List describes the Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? plot in this way:

In a time when the great war between five rival races for supremacy on Earth ended with humanity’s victory led by the hero Sid, the world suddenly gets “overwritten” right before the eyes of a boy named Kai.

In this rewritten world, Kai witnesses humanity’s defeat in the war as a result of Sid’s absence—where dragons and demons now rule the land, and Kai himself has become a forgotten existence to all humans.

However, after encountering the mysterious girl Rinne, Kai resolves to break free from this rewritten fate. In a world without a hero, he inherits the sword and martial skills of the hero (Sid) and challenges the powerful enemy races that dominate the land.

Meanwhile, you can expect the 4th out of 5 planned character videos for the anime to release next week.
