What is in the Total War: Warhammer 2 Serpent God Collector’s Edition?
I have to admit, I had my eye on the Total War: Warhammer 2 Serpent God Collector’s Edition for a while but, at $150 a pop, I decided it was a bit out of my price range.
That does not mean, however, that I wasn’t absolutely obsessed with finding out exactly what is in the Total War: Warhammer 2 Serpent God Collector’s Edition, and what it all looks like.
After all, there’s nothing like having it rubbed in a bit that something you would have loved to have bought is mega-cool. So, is it? Mega-cool, I mean.
Is the Total War: Warhammer 2 Serpent God Collector’s Edition the definitive edition for fantasy wargame lovers?
Pretty close to it, I’d say.
After all, the collector’s edition of the game comes with a canvas map, carved bone totems, a Slann puzzle globe that opens up so you can hide things in it, a replica Saurus Warrior Blade with a 4GB USB that is loaded with a bunch of Black Library e-books, an insider strategy guide, a new Race Pack DLC for the first game and more.
The game itself comes in a metal embossed case with a sticker sheet.
The only thing I don’t like about this collector’s edition over the regular edition and the limited edition is that Creative Assembly, the game’s developer, chose to integrate the ‘art book’ with the box instead of printing a standalone book, so it’s not really an art book just a few pages of concept art attached to the box. Meh.

Total War: Warhammer 2 launches on September 8th. You can buy the Collector’s Edition right up until then on the game’s website and for about a week after launch. If there are any left, as there are only 7,000 being sold worldwide and, even at this price range, they are selling fast.
