Is the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC release date when we thought it would be?
In a just released trailer for the new Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course DLC, Studio MDHR has announced a change in the release date for the pack.
Expected to be in 2019 initially, that release will now happen sometime in 2020 on both PC and the Xbox One.
According to the Canadian indie developer, they made the decision to push off the long-awaited DLC till next year to make sure it was something players will love.
“We want to be absolutely certain that this next adventure feels at home in the world of Cuphead and is full of moments that surprise and delight players.
Furthermore, the development of the original game taught us a great deal about the importance of making things in a way that’s healthy and sustainable for our team.”
And, while the Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course trailer doesn’t really show a heckuva lot about what we can expect, it does give us a glimpse of the new playable character Ms. Chalice.
The DLC will also include the same gorgeous art and animation style, new weapons, bosses and charms, a new island and the aformentioned new playable character. With almost a year before its release, we might just get some other cool stuff too.
