Yesterday, we looked at the Chinese actor who voices Link Click protagonist Cheng Xiaoshi, and some of the other Chinese anime he has starred in.
Today, we are talking about the actor who voices Link Click co-protagonist, Lu Guang.
A Chinese actor who is just as talented and just as experienced as the man who brings Cheng Xiaoshi to life. And belongs to the same dubbing studio.
Who is the Chinese actor who voices Lu Guang in the Link Click donghua series?
That man is Yang Tianxiang, a 34-year-old professional voice actor who was born in Beijing, has around a decade’s experience in the voice acting business, and whose voice has appeared in a whole slew of Chinese animated series.
Interestingly, he has also voiced characters in some of the same hit donghua as Cheng Xiaoshi’s VA, Su Shangqing.
Yang Tianxiang is apparently good at voicing characters who are calm and mature and, in some instances, indifferent to what is going on around them, if his portrayal of the rational and stoic Lu Guang is anything to go by.
After all, when it comes to the things fans like about Link Click (aka Shiguang Dailiren), the two main characters are usually at the top of their lists, and their superb voice actors go a long way to making those characters and their personalities a reality.
As I mentioned, though, Yang Tianxiang isn’t a newbie in the VA scene, as he is a member of the dubbing studio 729 Sound Workshop, and has starred or had supporting roles in many different donghua series and films since he kicked off his career in 2014.
