I’ve never understood why anyone would buy casual games from Zynga. Not only do they have a terrible reputation for stealing ideas from other developers (Mafia Wars, Cafe World, Farmville anyone?), but they’re shady with their business practices (remember their scam ads a couple of years ago?), and they treat their employees like dirt.
Seriously, why the hell would you want to give your hard-earned money to a company like Zynga, whose morals seem to spend most of their time rolling around in the mud?
After all, there are so many wonderful casual game companies out there (Big Fish Games for one) that I can’t imagine ever giving any money to Zynga, a company who has been back in the news again recently when the makers of Tiny Town accused them, nicely, of ripping off their game with a Zynga copy Dream Heights.
Then again, my parents brought me up with morals and taught me not to support those who don’t have them. I just wish other people’s parents had.
