When it comes to my favorite anime opening theme songs this season, The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat OP has to be up there.
That banging song is called ‘Dark Seeks Light‘ and is performed by Yui Ninomiya.
Along with its release on the anime’s opening animation, the song also got a full-length music video, which was uploaded to the Lantis Channel on YouTube last month.
And yep, that video is just as cool as the song — full as it with gorgeous dark and edgy shots of a beautifully dangerous anime girl, while the track’s Japanese lyrics flash across the screen in a violent red, and the music pounds on.
The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat opening theme song isn’t the only stellar thing about the anime either.
Released just last month, there are seven episodes of the first season out so far.
And, if you like a good isekai, this one should be close to the top of your list as it kicks off with cool opening animation, an interesting protagonist in Lugh Tuatha Dé, all the characters are well-written, the girls are gorgeous while still being absolutely kick ass, the music suits the series perfectly, the art style is beautiful and the animation is well done.
In fact, as far as isekais go, if you want a stellar one with a different twist, The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat with its mature themes — young girls being sold in slave auctions (and then rescued, of course) fan service, violence and, yep, mafias and assassination — is definitely it.
All taking place in a world filled with magic. Of course.
