1st ‘Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy’ trailer drops – and OMG, the little demon is a handful!
The first trailer has dropped for the upcoming anime adaptation of comedy manga Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi (Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy) via its official X account.
The fun, flirty comedy series will officially hit TV and computer/phone screens in April 2026, and the latest update also brings new details on the production staff, with now eight voice actors named to the cast lineup.
That Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy cast lineup currently looks like this:
- Aoi Koga (Niko in Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze) as Kanan Takakiyo
- Seiichiro Yamashita (Cid in The Eminence in Shadow) voices Yoji Kyogi

- Maki Kawase (Kako in Mono) as Ami
- Ayaka Nanase (Suzune in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic) as Nadeko Masurao

- Hikaru Tono (Anna in Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) voices Miel Zebul

Behind the scenes, Yasushi Muroya (assistant director of AFTERLOST) takes the director’s chair, with Rintarou Ikeda (Detectives These Days Are Crazy!) handling series composition.
Akari Minagawa (Shabake) is in charge of character designs, while Studio KAI (A Star Brighter Than the Sun) is animating (and so, yep, it will definitely be worth a watch).
Additional staff members are also on board, promising a production as charming and devilishly entertaining as its title heroine.
As for the Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy plot, the first volume of its original Japanese manga describes it like this:
Kanan, a female demon, hides out in a high school in the human world in order to devour human souls. She sets her sights on a high school boy, but before she knows it, they’ve somehow signed a love contract!
However, Kanan has never been in love before, so she’s faced with a whole host of unfamiliar emotions…!
