4 official Legend of the Female General stills of Zhou Ye and Ryan Cheng released

With just two days before C-drama Legend of the Female General premieres on Tencent Video/WeTV, the promo pieces are now coming thick and fast.

As, yep, if this one is as good as the trailer and various promo visuals promise, it could be one of Tencent’s biggest hits this year.

One of the platform’s latest promos then is the release today of four official Legend of the Female General stills featuring stars Zhou Ye and Ryan Cheng (aka Cheng Lei).

The stills were dropped via Tencent Video’s Weibo account, with a remark about He Yan and Xiao Jue, the characters the Chinese actors play:

The drama itself tells the story of He Yan, the eldest daughter of the He family who is forced to go into battle while pretending to be the family’s male heir, and Xiao Jue, the former scholar who falls in love with her.
