KONOSUBA 3 creditless opening animation shows Kazuma and gang off on more crazy adventures

The smash-hit TV anime series KONOSUBA -God’s blessing on this wonderful world! has finally returned for its eagerly awaited third season, with its first episode premiering on April 10th.

Accompanying its comeback, a KONOSUBA Season 3 creditless opening animation sequence has been released today via KADOKAWA Anime’s YouTube channel.

The video features Machico’s performance of the anime’s opening theme song ‘Growing Up‘, while we get to see previews of Kazuma and the gang — aka Aqua, Darkness and Megumin — and the crazy adventures they will soon be heading out on.

KONOSUBA, Season 3 has also been welcomed by fans, with most commenting after Episode 1 streamed yesterday that the art style is superb (as always), the animation is great, the voice acting is its usual amazing quality, and the plot (what there is of one) is hilarious.

As most agree, we’ve waited a long time for the gang to return and, so far, we are not disappointed.

(And yes, if you’ve been seeing people talking about KONOSUBA, Season 3, Episode 1 online for a while now, that’s because the first couple of episodes were leaked on non-legal sites a couple of weeks ago.

As a fan said, “Someone at Crunchyroll done f*cked up”).

The KONOSUBA, Season 3 stats

Like the other seasons, OVAs and movie, KONOSUBA, Season 3 is based on the original light novels authored by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima.

They’re published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint.

The English version is available from Yen Press, who has 17 volumes of the light novel out, and and Volume 15 of the manga adaptation coming out on April 18th.

As for the anime staff, Takaomi Kanyasaki and Yujiro Abe helm the direction of the third season, with animation studio Drive in charge of anime production.
